Service
“A service for the distinguished pet.”
Alternative Pet Care is happy to offer our unique Bed &
Biscuit service. This service is ideal for the
traveling client who would like their dog pampered in
the home of a professional pet sitter. Your dog will
get lots of TLC in a home environment.
Bed & Biscuit service is available to small dogs that are well-behaved,
house-trained, people- & pet-friendly. Your particular
care provider may accept larger dogs at their discretion.
Bed & Biscuit service is $50 per day. Check-in is between 3-7 p.m. and
will be pre-scheduled with your B&B Host.
Check-out is by 3 p.m. to avoid being charged an
additional day.
Pre-Visit
A pre-visit at your B&B hosts home is required
prior to your departure. The pre-visit fee is $20.00.
Bed & Biscuit includes:
Dinner
routine, good night routine, good morning routine, as
well as, love and companionship in a professional pet
sitter’s home. Most of our B&B hosts are in and out
during the day. Others work a typical work day during
the week. We will match you to the most appropriate
host at the time of your reservation. If your dog
requires a mid-day visit, there may be an additional
charge of $16.00.
Meet Our
Bed & Biscuit Hosts!
Don & his
wife Joan will welcome your cat-friendly dog into their
home in Del Ray. Don is a life-long devoted animal
lover and has been an Alternative Pet Care employee
since 1998. Don & his wife share their home with their
cat, Panda. He is enjoying his retirement even more with
the company of his four-footed guests.
Jennifer
& her husband Thor will welcome your cat- & dog-friendly
dog to their home. Jennifer is the business manager of
Alternative Pet Care & The Doggy Walkers. She has spent
her whole life living and working with pets. Your dog
will enjoy being spoiled and running around their large,
fenced in yard in Fairfax—1 mile from Vienna Metro.
Pickles & Turtle Heart, their friendly Pugs, welcome the occasional
playmate. Jennifer has been with Alternative Pet Care
since 1991.
Lynette
will spoil your dog in her home in North Arlington.
Your dog will enjoy playing in her large 1 acre, fenced
yard. She welcomes dogs who get along with her 2 dogs,
Minnie & Brandy. Lynette has a lifetime of pet care
experience and is the North Arlington regional manager
for The Doggy Walkers. She has been with Alternative
Pet Care since 1997.
Karen
welcomes your dog- & cat-friendly small dog into her
home that she shares with her dog Ringo, and cat Mia.
Karen is a devoted pet lover who was a former
Alternative Pet Care client who turned pet sitter when
she retired. Karen has been an employee of Alternative
Pet Care since 2003.
